Pickathon Film Camp

What does a teenager see when they experience the music and culture of Pickathon? How do they navigate the experience and what questions do they have for the community? Benson High School students captured documentary style footage of music, camping, food, vendors and leisure activities through a young person’s lens during this year’s Pickathon. The footage captured during the festival will be edited in their fall video class and delivered to Pickathon to use on their platforms as a first semester senior project.

Kristen Mico, digital media instructor at Benson, managed the camp and will oversee the students when the school year starts.
